I’m a person drawn to the complexity of being human—especially for those who strive, stretch, and quietly wonder, "Is this supposed to feel this hard?" I work with folks navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, performance pressures, and the stories we carry from relationships and moments that shape us.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a range of settings—from partial hospitalization programs to community mental health clinics to university counseling centers and athletic departments. I have advanced training in sport and performance psychology, passionately supporting athletes, performers, and professionals who are balancing ambition with burnout, motivation with mental health, and success with self-worth.
I center curiosity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the many layers that inform who we are—our goals, identities, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences.
I hold a strong commitment to understanding how systems of privilege and oppression influence our internal and external worlds. These conversations are welcome in the therapy space, and I stay actively engaged in my own learning and reflection along the way.
Outside of therapy, I’m a long-distance runner who finds clarity on marathon courses, a lifelong Mets fan (yes, still), and someone who will always say yes to a chocolate frappe or a good rock climb adventure with my husband and kids.

My Approach
My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment & Relational-Based Therapy, and Mental Skills—each offering powerful ways to better understand yourself, your patterns, and your potential.
These frameworks guide the process, but at its core, therapy is about connection. I believe meaningful growth happens within a safe, authentic relationship, where you feel heard, challenged, and supported.
While I bring clinical expertise and structured tools, the most important work often emerges in the space between us—in honest conversation, shared curiosity, and the trust we build together. Above all, therapy is a space that is uniquely yours—guided by your needs, your voice, and your pace.
Attachment & Relational
Our earliest relationships shape how we understand safety, connection, and our own needs. Over time, these early patterns can influence how we relate to others, manage emotions, and navigate closeness or distance. In therapy, we explore these dynamics, often using our relationship as a foundation for healing.
This work supports the development of more secure, fulfilling, and authentic connections—in and outside the therapy room.
Internal family systemS (IFS)
IFS helps you recognize the different “parts” of yourself—whether it’s the inner critic, perfectionist, or procrastinator—and understand how they influence your thoughts, feelings, and actions. By connecting with these parts with openness and compassion, you can heal underlying fears or doubts that may hold you back.
This approach supports greater self-awareness, balance, and resilience—key qualities for sustaining peak performance in all areas of life.

Mental skills are practical tools that support your ability to focus, stay confident, manage emotions, and perform with intention. Whether you're preparing for a big game, navigating a high-stakes situation, or working toward a personal goal, these skills help you handle pressure, recover from setbacks, and stay aligned with your values.
Just like physical training, strengthening your mental game takes practice—and can make all the difference when it matters most.
MEET MOOKIE
Mookie is my bernedoodle, and he takes his job seriously—snuggling, nuzzling, and often snoozing at your feet during sessions. He has earned his Canine Good Citizen certification from the American Kennel Club and is in training to become a certified therapy dog.
While most people enjoy having Mookie around, I completely understand that dogs aren’t for everyone. Just let me know your preference, and I’m happy to leave him at home to ensure your comfort.
